Smoo cave (GB)

Smoo cave, Scotland.

I visited during the summer months and took a tour through the amazing cave. Most of the trip can be done walking but the last part requires a short boat trip to the centre of the cave.

If you're ever near Durness, you should definitely take a look inside.

The Smoo cave in Scotland is unique in Britain because of the way it has been formed. The cave was mainly carved by the ocean, but rainfall and freshwater created various other "rooms" to explore.

It is tourist-friendly with facilities such as a car park, toilets, stairs and walkways.
